new photos... from home!!

I hope you liked my previous entry. And, just to add, if you think my pictures need improvement, then you're more than welcome to comment on my pictures. There's always room for improvement!!

As the title says, these pictures are taken indoors (which is obvious once you actually see them). I used a cute doll that always sits atop of my piano, and I sat it on a huge chair. But the chair isn't the theme here. It's the doll... Just know that most of the pictures will be about the doll.

HERE'S THE FIRST PICTURE OF THE DOLL. WELL, THERE'S NOTHING MUCH TO SAY. THE SUN IS BEHIND MY BACK. I READ THAT IF THE SUN IS BEHIND THE PHOTOGRAPHER, THE PICTURE'S RESULT IS BETTER...

HERE'S A CLOSE-UP OF THE DOLL. THE DOLL'S ARM - A LITTLE BIT OF IT - IS CUT OFF. NOT THAT GOOD. BUT, IT LOOKS COOL. A LITTLE BIT. IT WOULD BE REALLY COOL IF IT WAS BLACK AND WHITE WITH SOME FANCY LETTERING. I DON'T KNOW... JUST A THOUGHT... ^^

TOP ^   -THIS IS A PICTURE (DUH...) OF THE DOLL ON THE RIGHT. JUST CHANGED THE POSITION. NOT THE DOLL'S... THE CAMERA'S. NOTHING TO SAY, BUT I JUST NOTICED,  BUT THE LIGHT IS MORE WIDE-SPREAD... I CAN'T EXPLAIN IT. IN THE PREVIOUS PICTURE, THE LIGHT WAS FOCUSED ON THE DOLL. THE BACKGROUND WAS DARK, MAKING THE DOLL POP OUT (NOT LITERALLY, OF COURSE...). BUT IN THIS PICTURE, IT'S ALL THE SAME LIGHT. MAYBE I USED FLASH ON THE OTHER ONE AND NOT ON THIS ONE. I'M NOT SURE. (IF YOU THINK YOU KNOW, PLEASE TELL... ^^) I SHOULD TRY LOOKING IT UP ON THE INTERNET...

HERE'S A DIFFERENT PICTURE OF THE DOLL. AND WELL... THAT'S IT. NOTHING MUCH TO SAY. SAME THING AS THE OTHERS. I MEAN, IT'S ALL ABOUT THE DOLL, SO ONCE YOU MENTION THE ANGLES AND EVERYTHING, IT'S PRETTY MUCH THE SAME.

AND HERE'S ANOTHER PICTURE OF THE DOLL. AGAIN, AT A DIFFERENT ANGLE. WONDERING WHAT'S IN THE BASKET?... ^^

A SIDE VIEW OF THE DOLL. (THE CAPTIONS ARE GOING TO BE SHORTER, A LITTLE BIT. MAYBE A LOT.)

AND THIS IS A BACK-VIEW. FUNNY, IT ALMOST REMINDS ME OF A SADDISH PERSON LOOKING OUT ONTO THE OCEAN. AND YOU WOULD SEE THE BACK OF THE PERSON. ALMOST. NOT EXACTLY FITTING THE SCENE HERE, THOUGH.... ^^

winter fun! photo gallery!

You probably noticed some of the pictures on the bottom of this blog...

They are pictures from yesterday. It was before I researched how to take good pictures...
It was a lot of fun - taking pictures of nature... or some other things besides nature. The snow on the trees really fascinated me. So I took a bunch of pictures.
=D !!

Well, not really so much fun, because the snow was so hard, and I fell too often. Good thing I had a zip-up pocket for my camera (actually my parents' camera... mine was in the house). I stopped every time there was something worth to take a picture of and took a picture. My brother was really irritated by that - it would take me about five minutes to get across the hill beside our house. Taking pictures is really fun, I realized...
Just know that I am a beginner, just taking pictures for fun... trying out. 

Here are some pictures I came up with:


THERE IS A PLAYGROUND PLACE IN THE BACK OF OUR TOWNHOUSE. AND NEAR THE PLAYGROUND, THERE IS A SMALL FOREST. THIS IS A PIC OF THE FOREST ON MY WAY TO THE PLAYGROUND.

HERE ISA PICTURE OF A TREE IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD. ISN'T IT PRETTY - ALL COVERED WITH SNOW?




















HERE IS A PICTURE OF THE PLAYGROUND - NOT REALLY, THOUGH. YOU CAN BARELY SEE THE PLAYGROUND. I FOCUSED ON THE LEAVES AND THE DEAD BRANCHES... BUT YOU CAN SEE THE SWINGS A LITTLE BIT ON THE TOP RIGHT

THIS IS, AS YOU MAY GUESS, THE WOOD. I TOOK A PICTURE OF THE TOP OF THE TREES, SO I'M PRETTY SURE YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO SEE THE GROUND IN THIS PICTURE.YOU CAN SEE THE PRETTY TREES, THOUGH... =D














EVERGREEN TREES! THEY LOOK SOOO~ PRETTY WHEN IT'S SNOWING... AND HERE'S SOME PROOF! THIS IS THE TREES BY THE PLAYGROUND. YOU CAN SEE THAT THE MAIN FOCUS HERE IS THE TREE CLOSEST TO YOUR VIEW. AND YOU CAN SEE THE PLAYGROUND'S SWINGS, ONCE AGAIN... BUT THEY ARE HIDDEN... SEE IF YOU CAN FIND THEM! (THEY'RE PRETTY EASY TO FIND ONCE YOU LOOK HARD...

TO THE RIGHT >>                THIS IS A RED TREE OR SOMETHING... I'M NOT THAT SURE WHAT KIND OF TREE IT IS... BUT ONCE AGAIN, THIS IS A TREE NEAR THE PLAYGROUND. 

<< TO THE LEFT - THIS IS THE ACTUAL PLAYGROUND! SAY HELLO! =D... THE TREE IS THE MAIN FOCUS HERE, BUT THE BACKGROUND MIGHT GET INTERESTING, TOO...

TO THE RIGHT >>              HERE'S A PICTURE OF THE TREES BEHIND THE PLAYGROUND! BUT YOU CAN SEE THE CLIMBING-STEP THINGY NEAR THE LEFT OF THE PICTURE. AGAIN, THE TREES ARE THE FOCUS. I DON'T KNOW IF YOU CAN SEE THIS, BUT ONE TREE IS KNOCKED DOWN FROM THE HUGE SNOW STORM. BEHIND THE PLAYGROUND'S CLIMBING-STEP THINGY.

<< TO THE LEFT - SAY 'HI' TO MY BROTHER! AT THE BOTTOM LEFT OF THE PICTURE. AND FINALLY, HERE'S A DECENT PICTURE OF THE PLAYGROUND! SMALL, EH? IT'S THE SAME PLAYGROUND THAT WAS MENTIONED IN ALMOST EVERY PICTURE CAPTION...












TO THE RIGHT  >>            HERE'S A GOOD PICTURE OF THE SWINGS. THE SWING ON THE LEFT WAS COILED AROUND THE SWING'S TOP, SO IT'S MUCH HIGHER... A WEIRD ANGLE TO LOOK AT THE SWINGS, DON'T YOU THINK? IT ALMOST LOOKS DEMENTED BECAUSE OF THE HIGH SWING. COOL, ISN'T IT?

<< TO THE LEFT - THE TREES IN THE SKY AGAIN!! THE BRANCHES ARE SO THIN AND WHITE - IF YOU LOOK AT IT AT A CERTAIN ANGLE, IT ALMOST LOOKS LIKE A HUGE BUNCH OF BIG SNOWFLAKES!!

Great Information

To tell you the truth, I myself am a beginner in photography. Not that I want to make a living out of it - no... Photography is great, but I don't think I have such a knack for it. Only just enjoying.
And I googled 'how to take good pictures' or something along those lines, and I came to this website that really helps a lot. Seriously. I learned a bunch of cool things that I didn't even know of that was right in front of my nose! (my camera...)

As you may know, this is the first blog entry in this blog.You probably guessed this blog is a photo blog, about photos, since the title is pHoToMaNiA. Yes, it is. I find photography interesting. I decided to make a photo blog.
